Eat all you want!

If it ends up on your plate not too far from how it grew out of the ground (whole, natural): eat all you want! Otherwise, note the following:

If it came out of a package and did not grow out of the earth, you can still eat it, but only as a novelty or curiosity. Enjoy a taste, but don't expect it to keep your engine running efficiently.

Binge on salad with natural dressings. Olive oil + lemon + sea salt tastes great! Tahini + water + lemon + sea salt. Balsamic + dijon + olive oil.

Have a few french fries. Enjoy them slowly. Savour the experience.

Take at least 20 minutes to eat. This is how long the mind-body connection needs to process satiety (feeling of fullness).

Then MOVE. Go for a walk after dinner. Do some puttering around the house. Sure you live to eat because you absolutely love food. But we still must eat to live, and living according to our bodies means moving. Don't like the gym? No problem...just find a form of movement that you and your body can enjoy because you were made to move.

No friends to get moving with? Check out http://www.meetup.com/. Type your interests.

There's nothing wrong with loving all kinds of foods, as long as you don't let it be your only hobby because that can't work anymore than sleeping could be your favourite pasttime. Our bodies want us to sleep and eat so we can do other things in between. What does your mind-body-soul want to do after survival is out of the way?
